when I first start my 99 2500 cummins in the morning or when ever the truck starts fine then when u put it into drive or reverse it will die but I give it a little time or idle it up to like warm it up some then it will be fine and rest of the day it will be fine I have a ats tranny with control box which I don't no to much about and my engine is a 6.1 it was board and sleeved from 5.9 to 6.1. im not sure what kind of converter or valve body in the tranny. and then I have a flash pac tuner as well that came with the truck

Weird yesterday pullinh on large hill up in moutin on way to san diego my over drive light came on now every start up when I start to move it says over drive off on dash so I click button and turns off my scanner shows a code for p1740
