gauges, gauges, gauges,
boost, pyro and trans temp are the first on the list. followed by a good air filter or intake system. BHAF, AFE amsoil ect just say no to K&N. also on the list should be a complete fluid change, engine, trans, transfer case, difs, and a brake bleed since you dont know what the previous owner may have driven through.

Fuel Pressure guage. That is a must with any 24v cummins. Maybe a vulcan kit or a FASS system to get rid of a problematic stock lift pump. Maybe not this just yet but in the future you'll wanna do something to your fuel system. I'm putting a vulcan kit and a holley blue pump on my truck soon. But I would to a FP guage when you install a boost and pyro.
