yeah i put down ALOT higher numbers but i tried to post them and a few called BS cause i have a stock tranny and converter in it right now. if they dont believe me , come to fresno and i will run them any time lol. i just hate people that have nothing but bad things to say.

 

I didn't see any hating on this thread, just on the GTO thread. I don't think anyone questions if your truck can make 550+ with your bombs, just how the heck the tranny is staying together at those power levels.

If you're worried about nay sayers just post a graph =P Or just post it for me cuz I like looking at them

BTW what kind of dyno was it and was there a correction factor?

 

out of curiosity...how do you show people you have a stock tranny and converter? did you take it out and tear it down in front of them?

had the inspection cover off to where you could see the converter. i will post the graph today on the horsepower and torque. i am going to dyno again this friday with everthing on again to see what she does. it was on a mustang dyno and they said it was readin 20% low. as far as the people saying is was true and didnt happen, my private messages said other wise lol either way i will post the graph that way no one can say different then.

 

I dont think anyones hating on you Adam! Looks like you made some great runs! Impressive numbers! Hopefully you will be able to get ya a new tranny soon then they'll have no room what so ever to talk!

PS We're running my truck on a mustang in may (Its also been on a dyno jet) Then We'll Be Able to Settle everyone on the Number diffrence between the Dyno Jet and Mustang!

thank you very very much mystery. my times in the drags almost blew me away. i was consitanly running a 8.3. thats in the freakin dirt and a full 1/8 mile. i definetly think that when i ran the Gtec and it said i ran a 12.8 that it was right.

 

yeah Reb is going to build a full billet tranny using Daves componets here in the next couple of weeks. i am going to dish out a 1k tomorrow on a spearco intercooler. i completly blew mine on the dyno. HUGE hole in the lower passenger corner. tried to JB weld it for the races and it just blew right out.

 

How many miles do you have on your stock tranny since the mods? I'm just curious. This is motivational to hear.

 

about 11K on it. i had a full billet DTT and had a buddy that was going through a bad time, just got married and such and blew his tranny. well i sold him mine at a hell of a price, and found a used stock one. only had 36K miles on it when i put it in and i have 11k on it with the mods in my sig, soon as it goes, Daves tranny is going in.
