Finally....

I finally got some nice pictures of my truck, the truck and trailer, and the jeep taken and uploaded (and approved). Take a look, they're in my gallery.

Nice dent on the side of the hood. Is there a story to go with it?

Where was the snow pic taken?

crobtex, That was a nice one. matching on the other side too (kinda). My older brother, supposedly older and wiser, said I had plenty of room and to just come nice and slow. but the jeep, about 6.5 ft wide was supposed to get through something 5.5 ft wide. So when I got stuck he said, "alright 1st gear, and a lot of the skinny peddle!" But it adds character. the battery is what stopped the hood from comin in any farther. He's got the tj behind my yj. I still laugh because mine's fairly well set up compared to his...but they're all works in progress, kinda like the cummins.

CTD NUT, yeah I like that picture too. It's from my balcony on the 2nd floor of my townhome. Try driving anything longer than a honda civic through the neighborhood, it's interesting. then because of the way the buildings are set up driving, loaded or not, through the neighborhood w/ the 4in straight pipe can be quite loud. no complaints yet, though. The idea is to have a set up similar to you jeep, I got a long way to go though. I just couldn't bring myself to spend money on paint though, because as soon as I did, I know i'd roll the jeep!.... I do like yours though!

oh yeah that picture in the snow was taken in moab utah by the upper helderodo trail head. Lots of snow and a moderate trail = a really hairy, scary and dangerous trail!

HEHE....the paint really isn't fooling anyone. I only spent about $100 on the paint and all the rest of the chemicals and sprayed it myself with a $35 HVLP gun.....I got reasonably good results, IMO, considering the skill level and investment......I'm not one to be concerned about the paint job either, when all I'm going to do is scratch and ding the you-know-what out of it!

Man, I have to get out to CO one day.....I'm very jealous of all the great 'wheeling you have right at your door step!

Hey cododge2500man.

This picture is what I'm looking at.

Where did you get the screen and how did it install. Are there RCA jacks? Reason I ask is I just bought a wireless camera for the back of my TT, kinda like a backup on a big coach RV and need a TV or screen in the truck. Also you location is exactly where I was thinking about installing one. Mind if I ask cost.

Thanks
Bill.

I pmed you. but for those who want to know, the screen is about 120-150. Not bad for an LCD.

thats exactly where I mounted mine as well but instead of hard mounting it I used velcro on the back of the monitor and it sits up in there a bit farther. The velcro in on the top across the back and across the bottom edge. Still completly visable but way more out of the way. I put it there so I could install a rear view camera as well, lots of little kids around my house and I would HATE to smash one.
Mine is a 7" as well.
