any1 make a product like this??? something u can set your throttle ....turn and lock it so it runs a little fatser idle on those cold days ??? ( used to drive an old mack onsite that had 1 was cool ) ;D any1 have any pics if there is such a thing ???

 

Pilot truck stops sell a cheap <$10, adjustable rod that fits between the go pedal and the undersideof the dash. I don't remember the brand though. I use one of the "turn to tighten" curtian rods my wife had laying around. I place it between the pedal and seat front and adjust to what's desired( usually 1,000-1200rpm). It works fine, as a diesel engine does not generate much heat on these -0* mornings at low idle.

 

If you stop by a good size truck stop they more than likely have a &quot;throttle stick&quot; for sale.. I got mine for about $6... it works just fine and is a much cheaper alternative than cables/computer boxes etc..<br><br>good luck
