FASS ticking
Hey all,
I have an increasingly irratating problem with my FASS HPFP. I installed a Drawstraw 2 with FASS at the same time, and the ticking began almost imediately. It's now so bad it sounds like speaker static whether idling or at WOT.
Where should I start? Should I deleat the pre-filter (NAPA cheapo) that FASS supplies in it's kit? Do you think the Drawstraw is pulling air? I just don't know where to begin.

Does the ticking have a frequency? Fast, slow? Does it sound like its coming from the motor....or the pump?
You can try to pull fuel from a bucket. That would eliminate the tank and draw straw.
The best thing is if you have a FASS dealer local you might swing by and let them listen to the pump. EDIT: I see you are in AK......UM...can you take a Vid of the pump?
