Talking FASS System Arrival

Well I finally broke down and ordered the FASS system for her 2000. And yes its a bunch of money but I decided that I would fix the lp before it goes out.
I opened the box last night and couldnt believe the massive size of the pump and filter head. And the quality of the rest of the kit was somethng else. I cant wait to get this system installed and see how the truck runs afterwards.
When we bought the truck it had -6n lines that the owner had replaced the stock banjos with. I decided to try a little experiment and replace the -6n lines with -8n line to see if there would be a noticeable difference...and yes there was.
I called and talked to Brad about the 3/8" feed line to find out whether or not it would be worth going with -8n lines. He said that with the hp of the truck now..I would not see a difference. With the information that I have found on this FASS system..I should notice a difference is how the truck acts. Fuel mileage may or may not change but with the way this system delivers the fuel..her truck should be much happier...

I talked to Brad yesterday about going from the 3/8" lines to 1/2" but I forget to ask the best route for the main feed fuel line up to the motor..
Any suggestions????

Thanks

along the outside of the frame rail... there is an existing electrical bundle there; I used wire ties to secure it parallel to but not attached to this bundle... once you get to the engine compartment, just run it where it is unobstructed and won't get pinched or heated... I tied mine off to the existing hard line from the stock fuel filter...

I may end up getting some of that wire loom to cover the line so that it wont scrub..

I used hydralic hose covering over my1/2" line. You can get it at any hose shop. It is nylon braided and very tough. 20 feet of it was about $10 and it just slides over your hose. Tim
