Question FASS questions

How much pressure and volume should I expect from a FASS? I am going to get one on thursday from Daves Diesel in Muncie IN. I have replaced my carter with the one from summit only to get an erratic fuel pressure reading and only 9psi. Will this Fass Give me 15 psi at all speeds? Is ther anything better than the FASS? I saw a demonstraion at the DHRA show and it took all the bubbles out of the fuel. Any bad things? Thank you all T

You should expect around 15 or so PSI in pretty much all conditions. I think the volume is somewhere around 110gph. Don't quote me on that though.

Get the FASS 95gpm not the 150gpm. The 95 is more then enough. I see 20-21psi @ idle, 19psi @ cruise and I can pull it down to 15-16psi if I really get on it.

Me three!

May drop 1-2 lbs at WOT for a split second..than right back up to 15! 95 gph model is all that's needed on any hp CTD! Our engines only burn 3-6 gph at cruise.

Be sure to add the larger line and fitting "kit" between the filter and the VP 44. You can rig it with parts from NAPA or order from one of the DTR vendors.

I know of two CTD's over 600 hp running the 95 gph without being able to pull pressure down at all. Should be all you need. It's also much quieter.

Cobtex the FASS gets rid of the factory filter. It runs a huge fuel line from the Fass directly to the IP. Very cool.
