i guess im wonder the dificulty level of installing a fass, and if its worth paying the extra money to get the fass. i told my self i was going to leave this truck stock but like alot of you i got bit so i figure it would be smart to upgrade the fuel system.

i like my FASS, i have a 2 wheel drive, short bed. so mine was semi difficult to install, took me about 4-6 hours, and a couple cold ones. but it works great, i do not have any gauges to prove that, but my truck runs great anyways.

Locate, Diesel Dan on this website and he will fill you ni all on the info you need he help me out ALOT.

A full system install is only moderately difficult because of the space constraints you must deal with. It's really fairly simple.

Long beds are way easier to install……Shorts are not as fun and the 2wd, shorts are the worst…..so if you got a guy on here saying that it was no big deal with one……haha…..you are good then!

I would say if its your first time…..i would bet on about 4 hrs of taking your time. Got a few extra suggestions with the hose and stuff…..
  • Don’t use hose clamps on the push lock fittings
  • Use grease or oil to help push them on (ALSO if you have a heat gun to soften up the hose, that helps tons)
  • Run your long lengths first, then cut for the shorter ones.
  • When priming, crack the fuel filter ONLY and leave the water separator tight. Do not fill the fuel filter unless you want unfiltered fuel to be sent to your injection pump. The pump will fill itself.
