FASS filter AND stocker at same time?

When I bought my pump a few months back, it came with a small filter to go between the tank and pump. I hooked up to the stock filter on the block from the FASS. The filter it came with seems small and I just bought the biggest in line filter I could at the parts store. Seems to me that the stock filter wont have much work to do...? Do others that just buy the pump do it this way?

That inline HPFP "filter" is not a filter per se.....its a 140 micron strainer. So flow is not an issue. AND the HPFP is a static pump, unlike the FASS. Its not consistently flowing fuel between the tank and the pump. SO volume requirements are very low until WOT. AND even at WOT...the strainer can handle the flow.

NAPA part number for the strainer: 3270
