F1 Injectors, Who Sells Them In Canada?

Does anyone know who sells F1 injectors in Canada? Do I need to trade in a set of core's when I purchase them? I have my originals in the garage...

Nope no one in Canada.
Have a look here, http://www.f1diesel.com/contacts.html
Rip or Bob Wagner are the closest

No F1 dealers in Canada, sorry. If we can help you out give us a call as we ship lots of parts to our northern friends.

How do you guys deal with getting injectors , turbos , etc across the border, i have a list of stuff i want to buy in the future , but i absolutly dispise paying another 15% (minimum) to get stuff across the border. I got burned on a set of tow mirrors a while back , the mirrors and shipping were paid for (and the sender did indeed pay shipping) and when they landed at my door they cost me an extra 80$ in brokerage charges from the couriour (not duty , brokerage charge)

The extra costs in getting stuff across the border makes it more expensive for me to buy from south of the border , it is cheaper for me to find someone in canada that sells the product I want.

So true JKM. We diesel heads up north really get bent when we bring something over the border. I will get ahold of Doug at PDW and figure something out. Maybe a good idea to get a dealer to start stocking them here because I'm told they are the best injector out there!!! Do you need a core set sent up Doug. I'm getting a Silver 62 so I think a set of Mach 4 will be the max I will want to go with a HRVP 44, TST Comp and a Smarty. What do you think???

Hey JKM

Don't get anything shipped courier!! That's where they nail you.

Bob Wagner shipped my Smarty to me thru the mail and I paid $12 duties. Bob also had my F1 injectors shipped directly to me from Don at F1 and I didn't pay a dime in duties or anything.

It helps when they under value the package ( you still can get nailed if they open it) and also, get them to ship it under a personnal name, not a business name. This way it looks a little more unobtrusive.

The Smarty and the F1's also don't weight much when they are shipped seperately as well as being fairly small package wise so they also don't raise any major flags.

I am a huge diecast car collector and have packages arriving almost daily varying in value from $1 to $500 US and I rarely pay any duties. If I do pay, it's usually not much.

UPS will hose you on brokerage fees even if the package is worth nothing. I had a boost elbow sent to me free of charge from Edge and UPS wanted $26 in brokerage fees to release it for a $1 part. I refused it and had it sent back. It arrived in the mail a little while later no charge.

Get your packages sent thru the mail using the cheapest air parcel, DON'T USE EXPRESS!!! All Express mail comes thru Purolator and you will get nailed with a bunch of crap misc charges. El cheapo air parcel might take a week or two but it is the best way to get stuff up here.

Hope it helps!

Jeff

I ordered my Smarty from Bob and come to think of it, I didn't pay much to get it over the border. Maybe I'll get them from Bob?

Homestead and DWeiler are dead on!
All couriers charge duties.
USPS and Canada post reg mail are not couriers.
As already stated if you are having a package sent from the USA have it sent Reg parcel post via USPS and you wont pay duties, only taxes.

As mentioned above we send everything but large heavy items by USPS. This way seems to work best and save $$ for the customer.
