Explain "bombing" to me

I know what it means, but I am confused on what I can do, and blah blah blah... I have the bug, and the truck is down... hence the perfect timne for this. I currently have a superchip tuner, but I will be swapping it out for something. I live in sAn Francisco, and do not want to kill the truck completly. I have a new tranny going in this weekend, as well as a new injection pump, starter, batteries,... I was considering my options, and here is what I have thus far...

Edge EZ
Edge drag comp with jammer staghe 2 injectors
MAD Catcher with jammer stage 2 injectors

Can I do all of these?

Now for my real question. When reading up on all these things, I see that people are worried abotu EGT's. I know what this is, but what is a bad # for my truck? What causes the EGT's to go up? What will help me keep the EGT's down? When does my turbo become inneffective anymore, and why? I just wnat to get a solid understading of this before I do anything wild and stupid to the truck.

I know what this is, but what is a bad # for my truck? 1250 max all day long, higher for quick burst seems to be OK (1/4mi, Dyno)
What causes the EGT's to go up? fuel, exhaust restictions, retarted timing,
What will help me keep the EGT's down?Air-lots of it, coming in and going out
When does my turbo become inneffective anymore, and why? I believe about 35-40lbs after that and your just heating the air more.
I just wnat to get a solid understading of this before I do anything wild and stupid to the truck.
So do I. I'm a first gen guy so I would wait for verification on this.

Happy bombing,
Michael

BOMBING-- the art of draining your bank account into a Dodge Diesel pickup in such a manner as to guarantee extreme performance and bankruptcy.

BOMBING

B etter
O ff
M odified
B aby!!

An acronym that was created by Scotty? (i may be wrong here) which is perfectly defined by HOHN..

Side effects of BOMBING are and may or maynot include the following
Debt
EXTREME debt
loss of a girlfriend or wife
Lots of nights in the doghouse
Desire for toys that you dont need but want anyways
Desire to beat that duramax or powerstroke that beat you
Desire to say mines better than yours
Desire to sink 10K dollars into a truck worth a little less than that
Desire to do burnouts and donuts and race ricers or others cause u can
U spend your free time on the truck rather than with a loved one
U spend your time at the track or at BOMB parties and forget about priorities
You forgot you had class cause you were waiting for Mr UPS man to come
You spend your christmas fund on a very expensive modification
You know your trucks mods better than you do your friends birthdays and names
You have www.dieseltruckresource.com as your homepage
You have on your internet address bar all of the addresses to your favorite performance websites
You made it to the end of these ideas and you got a smile from one or two of them...
