Question Exhaust Tips

Does anyone know where to find an exhaust tip with a 4" inlet and a 6" outlet preferrably stainless steel or chrome? Also does anyone know how to make an adapter so a 4" inlet will fit a 3" pipe?

exhuast tips

Try a shop that sells heavy truck exhuast parts, you can by a 4" to 3" reducer. You may also have luck finding chrome exhuast tips there as well.

We just but a piece of 7 inch big rig exhaust stack on my brothers 01 and it is too sweet. He got the pipe for nothing, but I think im going to do the same. They just welded a flat piece of metal on the back of the tip and cut a 4 inch hole in it then welded it all together really doesnt look to bad at all.

they sell a 4" to 3" exhaust reducer. You can cut off your pipe way back and weld on the reducer the put on your tip.. You may have to ask customer service for the reducer but I know they carry them.

Are you sure the pipe is only 3"? Usually the very end of the tailpipe on 2nd Gen's is 4" I know this because I wasted $40 have a shop cut off the reduced end of a tip and "butt-weld" it to my factory pipe. Shoulda found a 5".......oh well I've had STACKS sense then and now I only see one right way to do exhaust!
