Texas Exhaust Tip-HUGE!

Was home on leave in central Texas. Went into Austin and there was a 24V 2nd Gen/white/Ext Cab LB 4x4 at Cavenders on Burnet and 183 with an exhaust tip that looked like he had a trash can on the end of his exhaust. I think it had to have been at least 7"+. Where would you go about getting one as I think it looked MEAN!

If the reduction to the existing eshaust system isnt a very big difference, or if you can hide the connection, then go with it.

but if your goin from 3 to 7 and everybody can see where it gets bigger, then it looks ricey!

True 5 doesnt look big anymore, after having one on 3 trucks...

i think a 5 system with a 6" tip looks good on a 4x4

Well I dont know if the person works there but it has been seen by two of us so the chances are good. If you are ever in that area swing by and check it out. Im going to get the phone number and see if I cant get them on the phone and get the skinny.

I got mine from Berubes www.berubes.com . Any truck place that carries Grand Rock exhaust products should be able to order you one. Mine is a 7 inch slash cut top stack that reduces down to 5 inch. It's about 18 inches long. I don't have any pictures.

mine is 5" over the axle, and then the last 45* bend and pipe is 6"

turns lots of heads and people comment on it, but it still doesn't look big to me. I wish I could have found a 45* 7" aluminized elbow, I wouldhave put that on there!

I didn't know you were dumping in front of the axle. I am planning on putting mine there as well when I get around to doing the exhaust. I like the short pipe People next to me in traffic not so much

My buddy has a '94 4x4 leveled with 35's he runs two 6" pipes angled toward the ground and back from his rear tires a bit with slash cuts. Talk about mean looking!! I've tweaked his pump, fuel plate is ground to a #0 and put forward, and his AFC has been tuned Problem is his turbo is crapping out and has some horrendous turbo lag; takes at least .8 s for his boost guage to come up. So, you can only imagine the cloud he leaves behind at a stop light He likes the smoke, but he can't wait to get his boost and quick spool back (since the turbo was crapping out since before the mods) so he can see what kinda power I tuned in for him... Gotta get that kid a trans go

PS anyone got a cheap stock charger laying around for him to limp by on till he gets some $$$ ?

Just put a coffee can on your exhaust and you can get the same look.
