This will probably get a wide range of responses but I am interested in hearing all sides... What can you expect sound wise after replacing the muffler with straight pipe? How about the muffler and resonator? I am not really looking for an annoyingly loud sound but just a bit more of a meaty sound and more turbo whine. Thanks<br><br>

 

I straight pipe'd my for nearly 2 years. I didnt worry about the 2000 rpm drone until a few months ago. When I decided that I wanted a 4&quot; exhaust but I also added a straight thru muffler. It is so much more enjoyable to drive now. <br> Best way to see...is try it...if you dont like it..add a straight thru muffler.<br><br>Rick

 

I'm wanting to do the samething. A shop here where I live suggested putting a 3&quot; x 30&quot; glass pack on the truck...Has anybody heard of doing this? And if so how did it sound. ???

 

Sounds like a completly different truck when its straighted ;D 8) ;D. Also if you want more whistle try removing the silencer rings in your turbo .<br> Wheels
