Is there an exhaust brake that is made to attach to an HX40 style turbine outlet? I want a brake that is attached to the turbo, not inline downstream in the exhaust system.
If there is such a unit, is there also a matching downpipe that will meet the required angles to clear the firewall?

I don't know about the '02's, but I believe PAC-Brake makes them up to 4", bigger than that it's remote time. The units I've seen come complete with downpipe in stock location.
