Hey Guys

I own a 96 ram ouad cab 12 valve 5 speed. A friend of mine has a 4" magna flow ss. Exhaust system for a 98 to 2002 ram. he said i can have it for $250 and it is brand new. will it fit my truck? Is it worth it? or should i just go Buy a 5" exhaust from like MBRP?

Fill out your signature so we know what you have. A 4" exhaust is good for up to 400HP or so, I believe. As far as 96 to 98 you are going from a 12V to a 24V so I don't know what the differences are on the turbo flange, but I would guess the rest should work as long as they have the same wheelbase....

 

with a few modifications, you should be able to make it work just fine. Like stated, 4in is good up to so many hp's so know what your limit will be and see if it will work for you

 

There's no real-world horsepower limit for a 4". I only recommend 5" if you have compound (twin) turbos.
