is there a 5 inch exhaust available 4 the ctd ( 99 -01 ) or is the 4" all u really need ?? i want to here her roar when i finally get that special girl ( im talking about the truck guys, already have a wife ) thanks, scott
Re:exhaust
I think someone offers a five inch. Someone else will chime in here. But I think 4 is enough. Gives it that awesome sound. That sound is the reason I get out of bed in the morning.
Re:exhaust
I saw a 5" monster exhaust somewhere, but I'm not finding it right now. You can check with Rip Rook (http://membersites.nwbombers.com/riprook/) or Stan's Headers (http://www.stans-headers.com/diesel_frame.htm).

Of course, the 5" is overkill unless you plan on making 450+ HP. It could be argued that you don't NEED 4" until about 350 HP, but might gain some benefits such as lower EGTs and slightly quicker turbo spool up at lower HP levels. Of course, there's the sound...

Re:exhaust
This system that the TDR guys are working on is a 5" for around $325 + shipping. I have the 4" version in my garage waiting to be installed..and its the 14 gauge wall pipe.. I got mine for $330 which included shipping..
