I need help re-programming my truck's keyless entry system. Both of my key fobs just quit working. The batteries are good, checked with a meter, even replaced with a new one to make double sure. This system uses the rectangular fob and was installed about a month after the truck was purchased in '01. The EVS II owner's manual explains how to program additional fobs. I haven't found the installation instructions yet......but I know they are in the shop somewhere.

The info in the FAQ section must be for the sentry system. My fob is the rectangular two button type. lock, unlock and press both at the same time for panic. Right now my system is disarmed. If I pull the fuse and reinsert it the alarm sounds until I push the disarm button with the ignition turned on. The fob buttons do nothing at this point.
