entire chair replacements

I've searched, haven't had much luck confirming that chairs from another, say third gen, would bolt right into a 1998. Same issue as all with seat wearing, but want to upgrade interior to heated leather anyways, hopefully power seats. Anyone come across options available?

Totally different. I can tell you by looking at two trucks sitting here side by side, they bolt down to the floor in completely different ways. The 2nd gen seat bolts all point down, while the 3rd gen seat bolts have two pointing down and the front ones bolt sideways to a hump.
I also know you can't put 2nd gen regular cab seats in a quad cab as the floors are shaped totally different.

You can have an upholstery shop redo your seats with leather covers, and you can buy seat heater kits everywhere.

You CAN put reg cab seat in ex-cab trucks, or the other way around, you just need to swap out the floor supports when installing them.
