ok got a buddy who just bought a 97 f350, thinks hes the diesel god now. says he knows a guy with same truck as his that is getting 375 hp and 600 ftlbs, he wants to copy what that guy did. im already looking at trans mods, tc and vb first then the rest later, new mach 1.6s, and a 4" custom exost. is this going to be enoff to keep him quiet or am i going to have to step it up more? i tow alot so i have to watch what i do, any ideas?

 

I think in addition to some injectors and exhuast, you could look at a box of some sort. Those three things combined with the tq convertor and VB I'd think you'd have a pretty quick set-up.

 

Yep...injectors, exhaust, some sort of fueling box, and maybe a programmer of some sort and that Stroker wont be able to touch the Cummins...along with the tranny upgrades of coarse.

 

He has the XZT+ in his signature. Just get the competition file for the XZT+ along with the sticks & you can take him. Those Powerstrokes do run good when tuned up, but look at it like this...you could always trade the XZT+ in for the Adrenaline if he did beat you. You won't need the sticks with the Adrenaline & you'll stick him.

 

i do plan on upgreading to the Adrealine down the road, whats the competition file for the XZT+? is that the large injector tune?
