Engine stalling after hard pull

I installed 180 hp injectors and have had a uexplainable problem ever since. After a hard pull than coming to a stop the truck wants to stall some times. When I can't stop it from chuging and it does stall it will not restart intill I blead the injectors. The truck runs great other wise.

im thinking your barking air back through you head and through the injector lines. i had this happen before on a second gen. seems to happen when you reach 500 hp. does it happen when you let off the gas real quick? if so dont let off quick just ease out of it. better valve springs will help also.

Its called vapor lock! Its normal! Make sure you have plenty of room to use up the fuel! Its been described by my mechanic as the truck goes straight down and misses its idle! Just try and let it slow its self down. If its a manual and you drop the clutch rev it back up! if it dies , roll it off before you stop or you wont start back without either...... well atleast with 220 sticks

mysterync is right. It happens to mine. If you have to let out of the throttle quick and/or put it in neural burp the throttle a couple of times and it should prevent it. Other wise just let it cost for a little while in gear. If it does die crack a couple injector lines, turn it over until fuel comes out, then tighten the lines back up and start it up.

Is this only a 12V thing? What would cause it? or how does it vapor lock?

hey buddy where are you in MD? we have a group of guys who get together regularly and hang out, all of us with modded diesels. if you are close to baltimore you should come out sometime!

PS-i used to have this problem of stalling when i ran a comp and diesel dynamics stage 3 injectors, now i run DDP injectors and havent had the stalling issue

It can happen to any truck, More fuel than the truck can handle. I dont belive that its air pushing back... it could be. I belive its more of a fuel issue!
