Engine misses after hard run?

My truck will occasionally miss or spit and sputter after a hard run. Once Im stopped, just a little blimp of the throttle will clear it up. Anyone know what causes this? Thanks Bret

It usually happens with a hard fueling box like the TST comp. My regular TST on 9 at the drag strip will do it a little. My guess is that on a hard run you have pretty much drained the VP and it is spitting trying to catch up....ie, no fuel to inject in to the cylinders.

My injectors will cause mine to lope some after a hard run sometimes. Like you said, a little tap on the throttle usually clears it up.

alot of vp44 guys have this problem when running injectors and comp or TST box. just when you run WOT hard like that then let off, the pump just kind of gets hiccup if you wanna call it that, takes a second to straighten back out

Yeah i've never really noticed mine sputtering much but i have air locked the injection lines before after a long hard run and let off instantly, truck just cut out and wouldn't start. Had to crack some injector lines to get it started

met a guy with a 6 spd who air locked his lines every single time he let off and pushed the clutch in, but he could get it running again by putting it in gear and letting the clutch out while he was still rolling.

i've always had to crack the lines and bleed them

mine will run funny after a long hard pull on 5x5 tap throttle once and it is good.

When I put in my 370s two weeks ago I bleed the lines without cracking them.

Yes I have the stock turbo. I havent towed a thing with this setup yet. Im sure the Juice will have to be turned off or at least way down to tow. I like this setup alot. Makes the truck very quick!! But it will get hot in a hurry. I have the defueling enabled so I dont burn it down. If Im going 55mph and floor it on 3x5 it will hit *1500 in about 3-5 seconds. But thats still long enough to let someone know that they aint gonna outrun me......lol
