have you tried another ez?i chased a similar deal with my truck for a while,with shuddering,bucking at low boost levels,,and finally fixed it for good,,,,,i bought a new one with a handshaker

I know my old comp when ever you'd push it hard on 3x3 and then would just cruise around would suge real bad and puff out a ton of smoke. You had to turn the comp off for about 5 minutes so it could reset itself. That was with the wire tapped.

I cant turn off the EZ and I was just reading where someone says it does it with just the EZ and DD2's. As a consequence, I no longer race stoplight to stoplight and my in-town fuel mileage has gone up... but if I ever want to get rid of an idiot tailgater I just give them a warning puff or if situation dictates I bury the smoke pedal.

A 4x4 with power added will wind the springs, no matter what kind of setup you have. Just too much torque for the springs with the riser blocks on it. Once many years ago, I added blocks to the front axle of a mid sized truck to level it after a rear axle change. It did the same with the brakes on hard. Add traction bars and lose the chugging.
