That’s bizarre..... Its an electronic device, I would expect it would work properly or not at all????

Anyone else had a 'misbehaving' EZ ????????????????

I know my old comp when ever you'd push it hard on 3x3 and then would just cruise around would suge real bad and puff out a ton of smoke. You had to turn the comp off for about 5 minutes so it could reset itself. That was with the wire tapped.

If it was only positive, positive, positive then there would be no topics ever posted about help questions with larger injectors.
I have an EZ and DD3's and have none of the aforementioned problems. I use this truck as my daily driver and controlling smoke is only a matter of your style of driving. I can blow smoke for a 1/2 mile if I want or I can just as easily leave no visible exhaust through all the gears.

As a consequence, I no longer race stoplight to stoplight and my in-town fuel mileage has gone up... but if I ever want to get rid of an idiot tailgater I just give them a warning puff or if situation dictates I bury the smoke pedal.

A 4x4 with power added will wind the springs, no matter what kind of setup you have. Just too much torque for the springs with the riser blocks on it. Once many years ago, I added blocks to the front axle of a mid sized truck to level it after a rear axle change. It did the same with the brakes on hard. Add traction bars and lose the chugging.

HID, I understand what you are reffering to, but that is not the case here.. This is clearly an engine condition for sure....
