Electronic fueling, how much
Electronic fueling, how much
Does anybody know how much fuel we can push with the VP-44, given you put bigger lines on, banjos, lift pump. I am looking for an amount GPM. Lets say a PM 3 custom stacked with an EZ. I guess what I shoud say is what is the limit of the VP-44? Is it safe to say that the P7100 can push more fuel or not? I am afraid that you might get a surging affect with the VP-44 on the high end. Am I correct in this thinking or am I getting way off here?
Thanks again,
Heath

Re:Electronic fueling, how much
I currently have been running the PM3 Comp/EZ combo.
It puts out alot of fuel throughout the powerband.
Which is very nice.
But as the Powermax says "Competition" thats what they mean. You cannot drive around town on level 9.
I do get a shudder from my pump, that is harsh.
But, its nice knowing you have max fueling when you need it.
I can drive around on the lower settings, and my low end torque is great.
That being said, the VP44 and boxes are great.
The VP's can support a lean 600hp or better.
Advantage there is that you can shut off the power when you want on the fly.
Yes, the P7100 can ultimately flow more fuel.
But a mean P7100 is always mean and can affect daily driving (smoke).
