I don't think you can remove the EGR. But you can still add a fuel plate. www.tstproducts.com. Or you can grind your own fuel plate with the templates available floating around on this forum.

Not that I've heard of... unfortunately... You're probably right, there must be a way. However, the percentage of EGR trucks are so low that nobody has really put much research into it.

I believe disabling a smog device is illegal thus it would be against forum rules to advise you on this matter
Know a good with a welder?

I installed "test"plates on both ends of the EGR tube on my '98 and used a method of fooling the PCM about what I had done. It involved using a relay and resistors to convince the PCM that the IAT was seeing a increase in temperature when it commanded the EGR valve to open. I've since sold the '98 and my computer with the schematics has crashed so I don't have them any more. Since tampering wih smog stuff is illegal, details on here probably aren't appropriate anyway .

all of our programes downladers etc. are not smog leagel technically tampering with any of the emmissions on any vehicle is illegal, exhaust, larger turbos, changing injectors, etc is illegal how ever if you have a c.a.r.b sticker or if its a.r.b approved it is ok and to get super technical you cannot even modify the vehicles suspention or puting after marked rims on a vehicle is illegal if someone wanted to get really crappy with you but hey its all part of making th personality of your vehicle (correct me if im wrong)
