EDM starting in cold temp's

I live in Wyoming and snowmobile alot. I was thinking of putting mach 1.5 or 2's in my truck. I am concerned with cold weather starting any input would be appreciated.

They work fine. My truck sits outside unplugged.

I dont have any problems either. Not as cold here probably, but it has got down to the teens. I also run only one battery [group 31]. Tim

geer;
The EDM's should be as good as or better than stock injectors because the injectors are more efficeint "better vaporization".

I've started my truck with the EDMs on one optima battery at temperatures of -28C (Truck had not been started or warmed up within 3 days). Fired right up, no smoke just water, instantaneous smooth idle.

I have read about guys that have trouble with larger injectors - at high altitude . With my DD1s I see no problems above 9000', unplugged, but Have a friend that had DD3s and did have trouble at higher elevations in the fall when temps are very low in the mornings.
I think you ask a good question and wonder if anyone has good experience at elevations above 8,000 feet in cold weather.
