Edge Juice or Quadzilla Adrenaline

Can't decide on which module to get. I need gauges therefore, I need a programmer with some kind of a monitor. The only programmers with monitors, that I'm familiar with are the Edge Juice w/Attitude or Adrenaline w/Pulse Control Monitor. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

The Adrenaline is the newest on the market and they now have the fuel pressure sending unit. Lots of happy people with both adr and edge but Quad seems to be more up to speed on updates for his boxes and better customer service and more power so I read.

My vote is Quads adr but I have no money so I'm spending yours

As far as I'm concerned, it's the Adrenaline hands down

not a real easy question to ask around here! Normally which ever box the person has is what they are going to say is better. Im sure there is someone looking at this thread and their fingers are just urging to type. "neither, go with a smarty" I have never tryed the quad but i have a J/A on mine and love it and i installed a J/A on a buddies 02 and he loves it. An i have seen people on here that love there quad. So it leads me to say buy the one with the better price you can find. They are going to both have your gauges and add more power!

Above post is about as close to the truth as it gets. I have never tried a J/A, but I did have the Bully Dog.

ya ive tryed a few programmers and i think when they are turned all the way up it makes the throttle a little jerky! Dude if your not looking for a "drag" truck just buy either. Edge's customer service is GREAT and i read somewhere that Quads is just as good too! Im sure you will be happy either way!

im not sure about he j/a but i have had a drag comp and now have the new adrenaline. adrenaline is a great box and i love all the features it has. on the other hand the drag comp was a great box too, jus seems to me that the adrenaline has taken the performance to another level. but, thats jus my opinion!! good luck!

Does anybody have any ideas on what upgrades my tranny would need? I've been checking out the Adrenaline box and I see it would add some crazy power.
Also does anybody out there with a stock truck have any experience with an Adrenaline?

My truck WAS stock when I put on the Adrenaline. Killed the trans in about three months. Pretty much any programmer will shorten the life of the trans, you are just living on borrowed time. When you stick a box on the truck you WILL be tempted to play, and the end result will be upgrades to whatever component fails.

I have both and like them both. I have tried both of them at the track but not the dyno. I like different things about both of them. Quads customer service is great and EDGE's is ok too. I think the only way I have decided wich one to keep is because someone want's to buy my HOT juice w/att. I would sel either to get some money back for new injectors. I would reccomend either. I have tried both with a smarty and they both do well also. The only thing is you cant run the edge on level 6 with the smarty.

My vote is for adrenaline. In response to the "whatever you own is what they'll say is best". That's not necessarily true. LOTS of people jumped ship from Edge and/or Smarty and are tons happier.

I swapped my juice/attitude for an adr/pulse. I'm still on the fence about which I prefer. Edge was far smoother, had a better monitor, better harness and instructions (who uses those anyway). Downsides are that the edge isn't updatable at all, they don't have any presence here on the boards or in the diesel scene in general as far as I've seen and the real reason I got rid of it was the fact that they're going to try and charge me $100 to use a program that's already in my **** computer to fully use the edge. Pisses me off. The adr as far as I'm concerned is still in testing. The monitor doesn't work at times. It's hit or miss whether you can update it from your computer. There is no working fp sender still. Bucking at part throttle, rough defueling and popping. That being said, it is updateable and quad gives free "***** to the wall" tunes on their site. And powerwise, just running the edge w/o a smarty...it definitely puts out more power. Pricewise, it's the better choice for sure (esp vs an edge and smarty combo).
