Edge Juice losing power

Well, lately my truck seems to be down on power. It just does'nt seem to pull the way it did a while back. The truck seems to pull good on stage 5 until I get to about 2500rpm then it as if the truck just backs down.

I will tell you, I disabled the turbotimer option a while back because the truck every now and then would not shut off. I would have to pull the fuse to kill it. Then plug it back in. It would then do fine for weeks, then the last time it did'nt shut off, the monitor froze up. It drove very rough all the way home where i then unhooked the negative battery terminals and let it sit for a minute or so. That fixed the froze up monitor, the truck then ran fine but i never again enabled the turbo timer.

Now the truck just all together seems down on power. I have a buddy with an 06 that I raced a few months back when all was good. I handled him with ease in stages 2, and 3. The other night i raced him in stage 5 and it was all i could do to stay dead nuts even before I lifted.

What can be my issue?? Fuel pressure is awesome, I never hit the 1350 EGT alert, boost seems to only show about 24 at the most. I wish i had paid more attention to the boost in the past. Please Help...Thanks

Check your alerts. It may be de-fueling.

I have thought this myself. I am yet a guru on the monitor so tell me, which alerts signal the defueling? This way it will be easier for me to look at what I need to look at.

2. Do you think the turbo timer problem would have anything to do with this? By that i mean, does the timer run in conjunction to any other program or parameter, or does it just have the sole purpose of shutting off the engine at targeted EGT's?

If you go into juice configurations on you menu and go to alerts. Then just go through and make sure that all of the parameters are set to where they should be. If to low they will de fuel. When you remove the battery terminals you may have reset the chip. As far as the timer goes to tell you the truth I dont really know

hit the enter button twice and it will bring up a time to bypass the defueling for racing and such. Edge will stand behind there product you might have to send it in to get tested

Ok, I just went out and first, I did the key switch to check for codes. No codes. So I am good there. I did check "alerts". Fuel is set to 4psi (I never seen it lower than 12 since the walbro) EGT is set to 1350 ( I have never heard that alert go off so I guess I'm good. Speed is set at 113MPH, engine temp set to 210. RPM is set to 3250. Boost is set at 40PSI.

The turbo timer is set to "OFF". And the cold engine protection is set to "ON"

Low boost fueling is as follows

Stage 1- Level one(lowest smoke)
Stage 2- Level one
Stage 3- Level 3 (medium smoke)
Stage 4- Level 5 (most smoke)
Stage 5- Level 5

How long generally is the turn around on getting the module back?? I bought it back in august, will this be under warranty?

2. Can I drive the truck without it, what must I unplug and replug to stay on the road while my module is being tested?

Thanks

And the alerts are just alerts it dont matter what they are set at you need to go into the actual thing that sets the defuel on mine its just boost and egts because I have a manual they are under juice config.

I hope it is not that. Sorry to hear that. Are you going with the VP, or the Hot Rod VP? Where are you buying this and how much?

Ive heard lots of bad things about the reliability of the Hot rod pump and i cant afford to be replacing it again anytime soon so im just going to get a stock replacement, ive also heard that with a fueling box they dont make much of a difference anyways and i have a stock tranny so i just dont see it as a good idea yet haha.
Theres a place in vegas having an ebay blow out right now for i think 950ish, and im flying down to arizona tommorow to pick up a vehicle so im just going to pick one up on the way back.
