Cool Edge Juice/Attitude Questions....

Does anyone have Edge Juice/Attitude in a Gen 2 Dodge? I'm looking at buying it and would like info on it. Does it have the turbo timer? How do you like it? I'm looking at pulling about 27K# in an 01 1 ton with it and other mods. What do you think???

I have it in mine and love it mine has the tubo timer built in and you can set it by EGT'S or by min as to when you want it to shut off. I thought it was the best deal since it includes gages and a bunch of safety is built is so you dont hurt your motor or transmission. i am not sure about pulling the weight i have not towed that much weight with my truck since i put it in but i do haul a 18' flatbed with a jeep on it and it tows it just fine. hope this helps

Yes thank you, I am more curious to the turbo timer though. Can you pull the keys out and lock the doors still, while it runs on the timer or temp?

I bet it really shocks people to see you walk away from it, leaving it on like that then in a matter of time shutting off by itself. That's really awesome. What about smoke? What have you noticed? Hi power level, low boost level....or low power level and hi boost level. What combination is best for as much smoke as you can put out with it??? Have you taken out the turbo silencer ring?

I just installed mine and I ....

Hate it!
It jerks my head back every time I touch the gas pedal, and now it's going to make me spend another $500 in order to feed the little monster! It's normal feeding pump just isn't any good now, and it beeps at me to tell me about it too! Now I'm constantly looking to see how hot the tranny is, what the EGT's are and so on.....

Maby you should try turning the programmer down to 1 or 0.... I love mine, it saved my injection pump and it helps keep the exhaust temps in check by allowing you to adjust the amount of innitial smoke. The best think that i have noticed is that when your watching the road (if racing) and the EGT's or some other parameter gets out of check, the programmer turns the motor back to stock, also it doesn't turn itself on untill the truck has reached opperating temperature.

Stephen!

Yeah, well I was figuring I had to buy a new pump and maybe injectors. My truck spends pretty much all year infront of a 40' straight deck GN loaded about 27K#

That's most of the features that I like about it, it can really save your trucks parts, if using it properly. Does the smoke just pour out of there or not really that much. I was behind a truck the other day at a stop light and had to literally wait to go till the smoke had cleared!!!

the drag comp has more adjustability from what i can tell. unless the juice has sublevels for each power setting as well. and i know the drag comp makes more power and it fuels hard past redline. i'd actually like to be able to do it with a comp. doesn't even need to be a drag comp. i'm just tryin to look at all my options.
