edge...GRRRR

ok so i had the drag comp before, took 3 weeks to get the upgrade, and shortly after the upgrade my VP went out. at first i though the drag comp was bad so i called them...sent it back in to be checked. they screw up, and send me back a brand new in the box REGULAR COMP. i call them and they tell me to send it in, it was their mistake, entered in the system wrong, they would fix it for free.

In this time i had traded the Drag comp for my TST comp, i told the guy I'd send it in for the drag upgrade which edge would do for free again, and then send it to him. today i get my comp back again...it checked out just fine...except i sent it in for the drag upgrade. not to be checked!!!

so now i have a very decent fella gonna be mad at me because its going to be another 2-3 weeks before i can get his DRAG comp to him that i traded him for over 3 weeks ago. the comp goes out one more time in the mail tonight back to utah for the proper Drag upgrade so i can get it to the guy I owe it to.

if it was just me, i would be angry but get over it...but now there is a real nice guy who is gonna be mad that its now at least another 2 weeks minimum before he may get his DRAG comp from me!

Dang that sucks man, talk about bad luck. Hopefully they get that stuff worked out for you, and hopefully that guy understands it's there fault and not yours.

My drag box make the truck wake-up but its harder on VP's. A drag box seems to just smoke the tires a bit easier than a comp box. I run a comp box 99% of the time and just run a drag box for dyno events and kicking the local power stroker want to be hero. It took three trips of my drag box to Edge so that it work right. It was worth the effort just so the box would work right.

Wow that turn around is sloooowwwww. When I installed an edge juice w/ attitude in my buddies 03 we had issues getting the hot to work correctly. But they were really fast at getting back. In 2-3 weeks we had 5 packages sent from edge. We ended up with a non hot due to some injector issues on some of the 03s, including my buddies.
If it is their mistake have them send you a new one overnight at their cost and tell them you will send the wrong one back. They will need a credit card # to make sure you send the old one back but they should work better with you. Worth a try.

takes 3-4 days to get there and 3-4 days to get back...with a week for them to do the work in between.
