Look at the differences in the downpipes. The flange for the BB turbo has a flat face.

I haven't seen the face of my exhaust elbow, so that's why I was asking. What kind of flange is on the stock 3rd gen elbow? Looks to have a similar clamp on the stock setup.

Well I haven't gotten to it yet, but it looks to me like the stock elbow has a similar face compared to the downpipe in the kit. I think I am going to try and retain the stock elbow if possible.

Anyone have any more info about this. I think I am going to try and put it on this weekend. Stock turbo uses a 4" V-band clamp and so does the edge.

Anyone know for sure whether it will or will not work?

If it would work with the stock DP, why do you think the manufacturer would raise the price and cost of the kit to include a redundant part?

Manufacturers do things that don't make sense all the time. And probably because this turbo setup was mainly aimed at the 04.5 and down crowd which comes from the factory with a 3.5" exhaust elbow so the 4" down pipe would be an upgrade.

Are you saying for sure you know it won't fit?

That turbo was designed for 2nd gen trucks, then piping kits were made to fit 03-05 and 06-07 5.9's.
