Dyno Result using Smarty #3

I thought I would post my results for anyone who has followed my threads about using #3 with a TST over the higher numbered Smarty programs.

The results were almost predictable in my mind as I've already seen the results at the track, but you never know when it comes to the "humbler"..

Previous results were 460/1000 torque with Smarty #7 and TST #9 (corrected)
Uncorrected number were 471/1017.

I went 507/1042 Smarty #3 and TST #9 (corrected)

Uncorrected numbers were 527/1069 if I remember right.

I would estimate it's about a solid 50HP difference between the 2 settings on my truck.

Nice run man. I knew you'd work it out and make it to the 500 club

Awesome man. I dynoed on #3 last time and it only did the numbers in my sig. Maybe my truck likes the better fueling of the smarty?

Thanks guys! It does feel good to be in the 500HP club.

Tyler, How much boost are you pushing out of the 62?

I've got it gated to 40psi until I get the studs in. Once those are in I'm going to 50psi. The EGT's went up a LOT slower at 50psi than they do at 40. Not to mention I've still got a stream coming out of the stacks so I think some more boost and the water/meth and possibly some more timing I can hit 500hp.

IMO I would try to set it at 50 psi spike and settle in at around 48.. I've heard 50 psi is about the limit on the turbo and a SO head gasket. I'm going to fab. up a drive pressure gauge to tell the tale on my 64.

That's what I was thinking. Once I get the studs in (hopefully tuesday or wednesday) I'm gonna crank the boost up and check drive pressures and then check them again with the water/meth. I have no pressure spikes with mine. Once it hits the wastegate it sits there. Must be the oversize wastegate doug put on there.

I love it- 500 hp from 2500-3100 Can't get much flatter on the hp curve.

The torque peak is a little later in the rpms compared to your 460 run isn't it?

You're right Ph4tty, I remember you saying last time if you can have the peak tq later in the rpm range it would be a over 500 hp run. The peak tq curve is a little fatter as well when compared to the 460 graph.

You remember me talking about the surge of power I was getting on the higher programs if I let out of the pedal? You can see it on the 460 graph, that was my peak hp.
