The most nitro that I have ran at once is one gallon of r/c fuel to about 5 gallons of #2. At 33% nitro, 10 % Castor, 7% Klots sythetic oil, 3% other lubricating additives, and the remainder 47% methanol. That equals an overall 5.5% nitro, 3.3% lubricant additives, 7.8% methanol.

Doesn't sound like enough bad stuff to seriously hurt the mighty cummins. Once or twice a months, prolly no worse than a bad fill up with watery diesel or an idiot running gasoline mixed.

It sounds awesome and smells pretty good too. The instantanious turbo spool up reminds me of driving a built gasser.

Gotta love guys who test out new things..... Pretty impressive gain! Folks had lots of bad to say back when I first started messing with nitrous on the cummins, now lots of guys are doing it. We did go through some parts though to get it to stay together.

An oil sample to the lab wouldn't hurt.

Jetpilot, you and me, we're the forerunners in this diesel performance era.... Actually, you are a forerunner, I'm just an experimentive person with questionable judgement.

Mike's got a good point though- at least get anaysis done on the oil before playing any more. I'm sure an oil change wouldn't hurt =P

I wish you luck with your tests. Yeah there are risks, but who knows, they may not be as bad as some are thinking. I have no experience with the stuff, but have found your results interesting. Good Luck. I hope it doesn't cost you expensive parts. The injection system is a cool idea...

Wow, you saw my detonated exhaust cloud from VA? That must have been a site. Too bad my truck is so fast the burning mushroom cloud couldn't catch up!!! Oil analysis will be sent out this weekend!

The firewall is pretty thick on my truck, I have had to drill a few holes through it. It should be good for 1000 psi or so. Guess i'm gonna have to call myth busters out to do a scientific nitro methane experiment!
