Well, I've got the dually adapters coming for both front and rear and 6 steel rims, with no tires. I've got some barely used 265/75's in the basement. Would those work if I purchsed 2 more, I mean are they going to be too wide for a 16x6?

I hope it works it would save me some money right now.

 

Errr, well... depends. If your adapters don't change the offset at the rear hubs, it probably won't. '01.5-'02 have larger offset than the '98's, and they can barely run 265/75's without any load, with only a half-inch to spare. They can run 255/85's, but my understanding is that earlier models like the '98's can't.
