Dual exhaust

I was just about to run stacks on my truck ( even bought them) and I just painted it. But now stacks I dont think would look to good. I was thinking about running dual exhaust and cutting up my stacks for tips (got em cheap). The problem I am running into is ground clearance and smoke. I dont have a rear bumper , my rear fenders are also cut, I was thinking about running them in between the frame rails ( as wide as possible) out the back. Then there is the issue of smoke. If I tow my car the smoke is going to go all over the car (I assume). Any ideas or pics?

No problem as long as the car is black! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Just looked at the pics in your gallery. Tough looking rig. Is it still white? I think stacks would really look good on that truck - IMO.

Those are pics from a couple month back. The truck is now orange and white and I have a ton of time in it. It looks like a street queen now (I will still beat the crap out of it) but I just dont think they would quite fit the image. If worse comes to worse I will put the stacks on and my other car is orange too!

Cool

You might consider talking to Rip at:

www.sourceautomotive.biz

He has installed several dual exhaust systems for guys up in the northwest.

Duals

Jambbii,

We have duals in aluminized T-409 and T-304 ready to bolt on your truck.

I think a set of 5 or 6" angle cut stacks with the tops mounted level with the top of the cab would look pretty good on that. Would eliminate clearance issues on bottom and top. Maybe something like Jetpilots rig..but I cant seem to find his pictures on THIS website anymore. anyone got a pic of what I mean?

Turn it in to a drag queen!

Once I get a few certain other things taken care of, I am going to stack mine. Course as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You could turn them out at the back, so they point diagonally. I think that duals look a lot better like that, anyway.

I want to turn them out at an angle in the back but since my fenders are now cut I have to run them under the frame and then up and I dont think that would look the best. I will have a pic soon but I am kinda leaning towards my 5" stacks.
