I installed a Valair 3850 dual disk not too long ago, and have had a resonance at about 1600 rpm. It only happens when you are pushing it harder than normal acceleration. It is like a short high frequency vibration from 1600 to about 1700 only. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I have the same problem when i had my other dd, seemed like it would start arround 1700 and stop about 1900 for me.

 

Mine does that in 4th gear. A fluidamper is the answer for that.

 

Only another $500, right? Thanks for easing my worries. I will continue to drive around it.

 

Yep, just more cash. I've got one in my dually, and just put one in my 12v today. Forgot how much of a difference they make. I went a year without upgrading the balancer on the dually, but glad I put it on.

 

What about the ATS Rattler?
