Alright, I spent all of about 30 minutes installing the DSS today. 15 of that was waiting for my brother to get to the shop so I could borrow his hands to hold the darn sway bar back. Not a dramatic difference, but definitely a noticeable one. My track bar still needs to be replaced and I am also going to do the TRE's at the same time so I'll really know what it feels like next week.

Anyone else who did their own install what did you do about the 185ft. lb. torque spec on the sector shaft nut? I had to give it all I could to get the old one off and likewise to feel confident about the new one. I suppose I'll have to dump the couple hundred bucks one of these days to get one rated higher than 150ft. lbs! I've only had the need to exceed that on two ocassions, this being one of them.

 

Just put a really long cheater bar on a wrench and tighten the snot out of it.

 

Whoo Hoo.. Rip called today and said the adjustable Track Bars are in... Mine goes out tomorrow... now I'll get the 03 kit on and the DSS....
