I am thinking of mounting the comp right under my trailer brake controller.Will there be any problems with interference between the two?It will be right under it,but I don't want to mess up any electrical stuff putting it there.Will it be O.K.?

 

you can mount it there or in the ash tray this makes it nice for those times when you take it into get tires put on or other work so the slackys dont see it when there doing a test drive and end up playing with it.

 

How do you get it to fit there?It looks like you would seriously have to hack on it to get it to fit.I think the brake control spot will work fine if it doesn't mess up any electronics.

 

I have my Comp piggy backed on my brake controller and you barely even notice that it is there......I don't mind having it there but the ash tray idea would definitely make for a slicker install....I didn't even consider it because I use my ash tray as a storage drawer for all kinds of other junk!

 

you do have to cut alot out of one side of the ash tray. but man is it a slick set up two of my friends have theres mounted there. the only bad thing is forgetting its there and on level 4 when you come up to a stop light and theres a cop behind you . for some reason cops dont like smoke with there donuts . atleaste thats what i hear.
