door panel clips

I need to purchase more plastic clips to reattach the door panel. My local dealer sells EACH clip for $3.00.

So, naturally I went to every auto parts store in my area looking to find a match that is CHEAPER. However, none are exactly the same size.

Other than the three dollar dealer clips, does anyone know of a cheaper, EXACT match for the white "Christmas tree" clips that my '98 Dodge Ram uses?

If so, WHERE can they be purchased and do you have a PART NUMBER?

Thanks!
Bill

Our local hardware store sells them in the nuts and bolts section. Any Ace hdwr or big chain except the giant box stores have them.

When I needed some napa had a match that worked but it was labeled for an entirely different application.

When I installed my Powervision mirrors, I found the door clips at NAPA as well as the door panel removal tool.

Mattos, is a auto body supply store, they usually have any type of clip you are looking for, I dont know if they have locations near you.

I know it's become quite the quest for you, but I'd figure out how much my time spent searching high and low for these **** things is worth, then cut my losses, buy the $3 clip, and be done with it. Just my $0.02 though. But I'm sure you have better things to do (like read about stereo stuff or something...).

If you have an O'Reily', (SP?) they have them.
