Does this sound familiar?

I called one of the well know valve body manufacturers as asked them how hard it was to install and calibrate their valve body. The answer reminded me of my first job interview. "Have you ever installed one yourself?" No I wouldn't be asking the question if I had. "Well then you should get someone else to install it." How will I learn to do it then? "I guess you will have to try one and hope you don't break it."

I'm confussed. How hard is it really?

It ain't hard at all. It's very simple. The only reason I didn't do mine is because I don't trust myself with a transmission.

Do you have to adjust pressures once installed?

They need to be checked, at the very least. Oil pump tolerances vary GREATLY.
