Does a 375-400hp quick spool turbo exist
I live at 6400 elevation and pull camper to 11000 at times. I thought the super B would cool and spool say 380 hp pullin a trailer. Now I am hearing they dont spool tell 1800 rpm. I know I cannot put mach 2 injectors with a quadzilla without a turbo. I dont want lag and I dont want twins and dont want a hot running truck. Is there something out there for the bill?

Your probably thinking of the super B Special that doesn't spool until 1800rpm. I have a special and have to get rid of it because I can't drive on the highway unloaded well with it at all. I have 2 other friends that have the special, and regular Super B. Both of them have them on 24v's and the one with the special had to add water/meth to keep it cool while towing and still be cautious of his egt's, and the one with the regular super B loves his but wants more power. I also live at a higher elevation (5280). I would think you would be fine with a regular super B. The special is just VERY laggy

For 375-400, why not just run the stocker? It will be hot on the top end, but will get to the power you are looking for. The next best would be something like the Super B/S300G. Any turbo thats bigger is gonna spool slower. You might want to look at something like a Garrett GT3782R. Ball bearing turbos spool up quicker than journal bearing, but cost a fair bit more.

While my turbo is a 14 housing, not a 13, compared to the stock turbo, its a dog on the low end. Quick spooling to some, but not a quick spool turbo, especially for 400hp.

The super B is rated for 425 Hp and can be pushed to 450. It's a 57 mm compressor with a 65mm exhaust turbine wheel.
A phat shaft is good for 525 Hp and can be pushed to 600. It's a 62mm compressor with a 65mm exhaust turbine wheel.
The super B will spool faster but will leave you wanting more power if you plan to exceed 450.
The HE351cw is good for 500 HP and can be pushed to 525+ with the correct fueling mods/tuning. It has a 60mm compressor, 58-60mm turbine wheel, and a tight fast spooling 9cm exhaust housing. This will be the fastest spooling and cheapest turbo but you will have to do some parts scrounging and or light fab work for the exhaust downpipe.
Your truck has an HY35 which is the fastest spooling stock turbo for dodge trucks so anything else will be a little slower but offer superior EGT control. This turbo can support 350HP and be pushed to 400 with the correct fueling and tuning modifications.

I bought mine for $245 shipped to my door. Total cost for misc parts to connect the exhaust and cold pipe was less than $150.
