Are you thinking ht3b vs bht3b? The one with the extra 'b' has map slots.

no this is an H3B not bht3b or ht3b. I ran the part number in a turbo cross reference and it is a holset H3B. Part number 3533098. Application is listed as Iveco or Volvo engine models 8210SRI - 8210.SRI21 - TAD 1230G. It retails for over $1700 and I found one minus the exhaust housing for much less. Specs are: 74mm compressor housing, no shaft play in any direction and no fin damage. Price $78.00. I need some input quick!

You would be better of buying the HT60 IMO from that guy, if this turbo checks out (wheels, seals) then it would probably cost a pretty penny to buy a turbine housing for it.

That turbine does not look healthy. I would not suggest Mr. Lopez purchase pictured turbo.

I bought a BTH-3B for $700, rebuilt and complete. $1700 sounds pretty high, I would pass on that turbo. There is better deals than that out there, IMO.
