Well at work today, I decided to check the prices of an NV 5600,,,I called our transmission supplier, and got a part number, checked in the computers. $2568.00 including core. So I've been excited all night because I expected much more. Then I realize,,,,I never specified MANUAL or AUTO. So that's prolly for the automatic for that year. ARGH! another day of waiting lol. I hope it's right although I doubt it, that seems way to cheap for a 6-speed. :-\ keep your fingers crossed for me.

 

I've seen them on Ebay for that or less. If ya asked for 5600...then it's the 6 speed.

 

Well I did ask for a 5600, but they then informed me that they needed the application, not the transmission type. To which I just specified a 02 Ram3500 CTD. not whether it was manual or auto. So. I'm still unsure. I'll call and verify tommorrow.
