did i get the right flash??

The dealer flashed my PCM a while back, and now anytime the weather turns cold it sounds like my engine is coming apart all through the rpm range. It is very predictable. above 70F, everything sounds okay, below 70 and it sounds worse than a 2nd gen. The PCM label update says it was a P56040478AE update. The closet number i could find at dodgeram.org updates was P56040478AG which shows to be for a 6.9 liter engine?? How can i find out if i got the correct flash??

You would have to run that number on the MDS at the dealer under the tech tools tab. That would then tell you if it were up to date, or if there were updates avail. I would say from your explanation that you are worrying about nothing.

The last two digits of that number show the revision of the flash code. The latest revision for 18-037-04 that I know which I just had done is AI. Hope this helps.
