De-Fueling

I have a Edge Comp on my truck,what does it mean that this box can defuel 20 hp.And why would you want to defuel.Thanks for any info.

It means that on Level 1, Sublevel 1 the Comp will fuel to approximately at the stock horsepower minus 20hp. This is helpful on trucks with large injectors who drive on the street daily. It's also helpful for driving in the winter since it makes the throttle less sensitive.

Defuel 20 hp below stock? ..........I didn't know a Comp would do that........I have no idea why you would need or want to derate 20 hp below stock.
