DD SBC in

Well I finally got a clutch put in so I can play The slippery slope bombing is I was looking at a luk cermametallic, based on price, until I got a good price on a FE. Then I get a call that a guy wants to see if I want to trade it for a DD, which was an offer too good to refuse, soooo a barely broken in SBC DD 3600 12 ceramic button clutch is now installed

The clutch pressure is way up so eventually I'm going to want to upgrade my hydralics. Engagement point is still midway through like the stocker was. When I press the clutch in while on gear it does get a bit noisy, but haven't heard any drivetrain chatter. In fact in killed the shut down chirp Shifts are a bit slower, but the shifts feel nice and solid. Once engaged there's no way I can slip this clutch. I tried a 3rd gear launch and it resulted in four tire tracks 30 feet long

A big thanks to TRE Diesel aka TiminVa for the install, the business, and for answering all my trivial questions Installed in 3 hours flat- like they say: TiminVa is da man!

I'm pretty happy. I haven't been able to use my power with the stock clutch
I got to test the roll on power A coworker in his Hemi truck decided to try to pass from around 40-45 mph (maybe cuz I was smoking him out ) He already was beside me by the time I dropped the hammer, but couldn't get past me until I let off at 110. I wish I could say I left him behind, but we were side by side all the way to the end =\ Guess I'll be needing a fueling box

You've got the turbo, clutch, ECM for it, might as will throw on a comp or TST.

Just figured it'd be better to have and not to need than to need and not to have
