D-Celerator help
I'm looking at both the PacBrake and the D-celerator, but with regard to just the D-Celerator:
They have 3 types:
1. Super Duty Exhaust Brake (wastegate regulated) Electronic Activated Price: 1295.00
2. Super Duty Exhaust Brake (wastegate regulated) Air Activated Price: 1295.00
3. Standard Exhaust Brake (orifice regulated) Electronic activated Price 675.00
My truck is mostly a daily driver, with an occasional tow. I have a 4 inch exhaust....(same diameter as 2004 & up).
So for 675 I think I could order the 3rd option for a 2004 and up dodge, that way I'll get the 4 inch diameter.
What would you do?

I have a 5" remote D-celerator on mine I took off the electric controls and made a air contoled ram the control box that cam with it I had problems with it from day 1 after a while I didn't bother using it.I talked to a rep for the D-celerator at Schieds Extravacanza told him the problem i had he said that was the old wiring they made a update rite after I had bout mine I ask if the would exchange my bad one for a new one he said no but I could buy one for 275.00 I told him to forget it not in them words thow.I won't buy any thing from D-celerator again.

I just put in in-line BD and like it a lot. Chose inline so that the brake is not affected by any turbo upgrades.
In regards to your choices I would say either the SuperDuty (pressure regulated) or PRXB. I end up using mine in sub-2000 rpm range 100% of the time, and standard brakes (so I read) just begin to kick in at 2000.

If you were ambitious, you could do a third gen turbo swap like me, then use a stock third gen exhaust elbow mounted brake like member JLent. I have noticed a little better egt control, and more HP. I have had zero problems with boost leaks although I thought I would for sure.
