+custom exhaust+

I am wanting to do something different with my exhaust. It seems that 9 out of 10 cummins in my area have stacks but I want something different. I am thinking of a side stack like a side pipe on and old corvette or shelby cobra. Lets here some ideas from everyone on something different. Also if anyone has made an exhaust like this post some pics, or if you have anything different post a pic or tell us about it.

Thanks

What color is your truck, doesnt matter as it will soon be black if you go with a single exhaust out under the rocker panel, if that is how I am understanding you. Either do a stack setup or get a straight pipe exhaust. If you want to really turn some heads how about a hood stack!!!??

Exshaust is the best way to be unique, here are couple ideas some of them are fairly wild.

1- put a stack or two at the back of the bed just above the bed rail.
2- Like the previos guy a hood stack.
3- Dual 8" in the back I have seen this.
4- cut the exshaust off underneath bed looks like truck is on fire.
5- You can also do stacks and vary how they come out, like two 6" together in the middle.

Or just hook you exshaust to a tuba somewhere that should make for a unique exshaust and turn some heads.

The stack out of the hood idea would be cool and not a lot if any people have it. But my friend has one out of his hood and his truck is white so he has to clean the top of his cab every once in a while. Ill see if i can get pictures for you.

I did it myself, it looks a little goofy from straight on lookin at it from like 25-50 yards away.....looks like its just hangin there but otherwise its nice. still looks clean behind the axle, even though I love the big tip look from behind. And on mine its far enough out or my truck doesnt blow enough smoke to have everything black, the wheel gets darker but about the same as the fronts do (break dust) between washings. Eventually I'm gonna put stacks, but not its a 6 in. tip on that pic.

This is what happens when you do have enough smoke.

What about duals out of the corners(regular exhaust). I don't see many that have that.

I just have a plain 5" tip out one side. Good enough for me.

Or I like the stacks in the center of the cab or out of the hood idea. How about a flipper, like tractors?

I only wish the tips were longer than 12".. more like 18" would be good, especially since I have since moved the tips out further to keep the truck clean..
