Made up the plans and had it made from a solid 1"X2" solid aluminium bar. The C is made on it not added.

I made those out of 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum, not bar but plate $$! It took some time to program the "C" on the top, its like no other. I tried to cheat and find a scripted C that would work, nothing comes close. To make any others I would probably have to sacrifice the the .250 radius that goes around it for just a sharp angle. The radius was done with a 3/32 ballnosed endmill, and to say the least it took some time. It was a gift so I kinda went all out with the cool factor. I like it though, need to make some for my 1st gen.

Might be time to clean that air filter . Looks great though.

 

Its had a hard life, not like some that just run down a nice clean highway all the time. It was cleaned less than 60days ago, and is on its 3rd truck. It looks bad but there is no oil, dust, or grime in the intake tube or on the compressor wheel. It may be about time for a new one.

 

Looks sweet, but you're killing that Optima. Mix and matching batteries is a great way to kill the stronger battery.

 

Thanks. swaped it out today. The other is actualy stronger than the Optima, but I know what you mean. I dont like to mismatch batts but thats all I had at the time.
